  • Thank you for all the info on snacking. I don’t eat that much. I am most times only eating under 1000 calories per day. I have to force myself to eat 1200 calories a day.

  • I too go long periods of not eating and then having a relatively healthy meal in the evening.
    Then suddenly from nowhere I crave takeaways or sugar derived foods. So I need help

  • Iv found that having a smoothie for breakfast keeps me full beyond my lunch at 1pm ( at work ).but I still have my lunch so on Tuesday and Thursday iv decided to have it as my afternoon snack as I finish lunch at 2 pm and won’t be home till 8 .for sure it will keep me going till then

  • This makes sense, I have found that by not snacking between lunch and dinner ,that I tend to eat something I shouldn’t when preparing my dinner

  • I have never thought about snacking between meals as being healthy.
    I am the one that pops food in my mouth while cooking.
    I will now plan some healthy snacks to get into the habit before the 17th July.

  • Very informative my worst nightmare is evenings thats when I eat rubbish food. I’m post menopausal so finding hard to lose weight looking forward to the 10 th August to start planning ready for the 14th x
