Before I joined the Weight Loss Academy I tried Paleo, Slimming World, put on weight, Slimming World, put on weight, Paleo, Keto, intermittent fasting and the Hormone Reset diet and messed up my metabolism.
I was confused, frustrated, sad and uncomfortable. Reading all the new diet fads that popped up on my newsfeed and in TV programmes just seemed to muddy the waters with what I knew to be true, and I just ended up befuddled and cross. Before I came across the Academy, I was feeling desperate. ‘Will someone just please tell me what to eat?’
And that’s just what Anna does!
Since I joined, I have lost 11 kg and lots of inches; I feel more confident; I have lost a dress size and I feel more like myself again. I am happy to look in a mirror again.
Before I joined the Academy, I had got into a really bad habit of eating chocolate every day, and several times a day. The cupboards were full of snacks of every description, and because I was eating sugary snacks, I would be craving everything that is bad for me.
Now I am different. I haven’t written off the whole of December as a month of over-indulgence. I have continued to plan my meals and see every meal as a new opportunity. I am eating regular, nutritious meals; drinking water and eating healthy snacks. I am still allowing myself festive indulgences, but I don’t feel guilty or write the day/week or month off. I just make the next meal a nutritious one and carry on from there.
I am so glad I discovered the academy! I was very sceptical when I first saw the advert, but I was also desperate! As soon as I read Anna’s ethos, I was in! Proper food, no low fat, no counting calories, no starving. Just common sense and good nutritious food.
Not only that, but I joined a lovely community of supportive, like-minded people. I absolutely love it and I am so pleased I went for it.
